Can I use any photo?
Most clear references can be used as a starting point. Front-facing subjects, strong contrast, and visible outlines usually make the best stamp artwork.
Why is there a proof before production?
Wax needs deeper, simpler, and more balanced linework than a normal print. We prepare a custom proof so you can review and adjust the design before engraving.
Is the stamp $1?
No. The $1 is a proof deposit that starts your first proof set. Final custom stamp orders start at $39.80, and the $1 is credited toward your final stamp order.
How many designs will I receive?
Most customers receive 2-3 proof directions when their uploaded reference is clear enough. Extra images are treated as references, and we choose the clearest usable reference(s) to prepare your first proof set.
Do you create a design for every image I upload?
Not always. Extra images help us understand the subject or style. If you want separate finished stamp designs for multiple images, choose a multi-head package after reviewing your proof.
Can I order only one stamp?
Yes. A single custom stamp with one handle is available. You can also add interchangeable heads when you want more than one design direction.
Do I need to buy wax and tools?
No. Wax and tools are optional. The basic tool kit can be added separately if you need sealing wax, a spoon, and a small furnace.
Are custom stamps returnable?
Custom work is made for your approved design. Once production begins, returns are limited to manufacturing defects or mismatches from the approved proof.
